Box Office: ‘Pari’ opens up poorly in India

Anushka Sharma’s latest production ‘Pari’ has got off to a slow start at the box office in India.

According to Box Office India, the horror flick opened up to around 10-12% – lower than Sharma’s last release ‘Phillauri’. This time around, the film is said to have stiff competition from ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’. Despite this, ‘Pari’ is expected to pick up in evening and weekend business.

The other release this week is Jimmy Shergill’s ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’, which has opened up even worse with collections of around 5%.
