Box Office: ‘Padmavati’ not delayed; releasing in November

Contrary to rumours that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Padmavati’ has been delayed, producer Viacom18 Motion Pictures have released a statement clarifying its position.

There was buzz in the industry this week that the film could face a delay after the issues it has faced with Karni Sena in Rajasthan.

A statement from Viacom18 said, “‘Padmavati’ is not postponed. Not shifting to 2018 either. It will release on November 17, 2017.”

The film stars Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
