Box Office: ‘Padmavati’ to get postponed by six months?

With ‘Padmavati’ near to completition, rumours are rife that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has requested investors to delay the film’s release by six months.

The epic drama starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, is scheduled to release this November, but apparently the edit of the film may take longer, according to Mid-Day.

Stories of ‘Padmavati’ being delayed surfaced a few months also, which were denied by the producers of the film. The question is whether the makers of the film can afford postponing the release after it is one of the most expensive films to be made in India.
