Box Office: ‘PadMan’ postponed to 9th February 2018

Akshay Kumar’s much publicised film ‘PadMan’ has reportedly been postponed, leaving the epic drama ‘Padmaavat’ to get a solo release on 25th January 2018.

‘PadMan’, which was due to release on the same day, will now hit cinemas on 9th February, according to trade analyst, Komal Nahta. This means ‘PadMan’ will go head-to-head with ‘Aiyaary’ starring Sidharth Malhotra. ‘Aiyaary’ had already been pushed back to avert a clash with ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘PadMan’. It is not yet known if ‘Aiyaary’ will be delayed further.

Sonam Kapoor and producer, Twinkle Khanna are currently in London promoting ‘PadMan’. UK cinemas have already listed the film’s release for next week with previews being scheduled for Wednesday 24th January 2018. These will now pulled last minute to coincide with the February date change.
