Box Office: ‘Padmaavat’ to release in Pakistan without any cuts
After the uproar that was caused by the Karni Sena, which resulted in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ being postponed by nearly two months, the film has received a clean chit by the Pakistan censor board.
The film, which released in India today, will hit cinemas in Pakistan on Friday. The news was confirmed Mobashir Hasan, Chairman of the CBFC of Pakistan on Twitter, “Central Board of Film Censors #CBFC has declared a feature film containing Indian cast & crew “#Padmaavat” without any excision suitable for public exhibition in the cinemas with a ‘U’ certification. #CBFC #Unbiasedforartscreativity&healthy entertainment.”
