Box Office: ‘OUATIMD’ struggles to make 50 crores

The much awaited ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara’ seems to have fizzles at the box office even on its opening weekend. The film has failed to even reach 50 crores in India.

Trade insiders were certain that the huge success of ‘Chennai Express’ would dent the film’s collections but many were hopeful that it would still make decent business with it been a film many were looking forward to. Also, if the prequel was anything to go by, ‘OUATIMD’ had the potential to wow the audiences once again but it has failed to do so. On Sunday night, the collection were a mediocre 38 crores.

No doubt team ‘Chennai Express’ are looking like the cats that got the cream. With both domestic and overseas success, it seems King Khan is the king of the box office indeed.
