Box Office: ‘Nikka Zaildar 3’ opens up huge in Punjab

Latest release ‘Nikka Zaildar 3’ has had the tenth biggest opening weekend business ever for a Punjabi film.
According to Box Office India, the Ammy Virk and Wamiqa Gabbi comedy raked in a Rs. 5.75 crore nett. The nett business was Rs. 4.80 crore nett across India and Rs. 4.19 crore nett across East Punjab.
The film is the second best ever for Virk, after ‘Qismat’ last year. Overall, ‘Nikka Zaildar 3’ sits firmly behind nine of the other biggest Punjabi hits ever including: 1. ‘Shadaa’, 2. ‘Carry on Jatta 2’, 3. ‘Sardaarji 2’, 4. ‘Sardaarji’, 5. ‘Manjhe Bistre’, 6. ‘Qismat’, 7. ‘Ambarsariya’, 8. ‘Super Singh’ and 9. ‘Mar Gaye O Loko’.
