Box Office: ‘Naam Shabana’ gets off to a dull start

This weekend’s latest release ‘Naam Shabana’ has opened up to a dull response at the ticket window in India.

According to Box Office India, the Taapsee Pannu starrer opened up to around 15% – similar to last week’s release ‘Phillauri’ (except Punjab). However, the opening of ‘Naam Shabana’ is said to be a little better than ‘Phillauri’ in Hyderabad and Gujarat.

The report adds that the film may find it an uphill task at the box office as the acquisition price was far too high, which will be difficult for distributors to recover.
