Box Office: ‘Munna Michael’ makes a dull start

This weekend’s release ‘Munna Michael’ has taken a dull start at the box office in India.

According to Box Office India, ‘Munna Michael’ has started off worse than last week’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’. Shroff, who is synonymous with action films, may not have had many takers to see Shroff in just a dance orientated film. The comedy angle that was seen in promos for ‘Munna Michael’ may have proved a turn off for cinemagoers.

The report adds that the film has take a disastrous start in North India, with sites in Hardwar and Bijnore disappointing. The film has opened up slightly better at single screens in Maharashtra and Nizam.

‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ has also taken a very slow start at the box office.
