Box Office: ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ & ‘Sarkar 3’ open poorly

This weekend’s two big releases ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ and ‘Sarkar 3’ have opened up poorly.

According to Box Office India, the openings of both films were rather dull, with further competition from ‘Baahubali 2’, which remained the dominant force. Apparently, the third Friday collections of ‘Baahubali 2’ raked in more than the combined total of ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ and ‘Sarkar 3’.

‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ had a slightly better opening than ‘Sarkar 3’ but it is unlikely the film will have the bumper weekend, makers had expected. Both films will heavily be dependent on good word of mouth. ‘Sarkar 3’ opening is much lower so its sustainability is questionable this weekend.
