Box Office: ‘Main Tera Hero’ is fifth in top opening occupancies of 2014

Varun Dhawan, Ileana D�۪Cruz and Nargis Fakhri star in David Dhawan directed ��Main Tera Hero�۪ which releases today. BizAsia has learnt that the film has enjoyed an average opening but, because of so many non-performing films this year so far, has become the fifth best openers of the year in terms of occupancy, as it stands.

In most circuits, according to Box Office India, ��Main Tera Hero�۪ has had around 30% openings. There is a cricket match which will get in the way of it�۪s fate otherwise the film would have fared better in the evenings too. It seems to be doing well in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

��Ragini MMS 2�۪ is still going strong it seems but has been affected the cricket too during the week. Last week�۪s releases included ��Dishkiyaaoon�۪, ��O Teri�۪ and ��Youngistaan�۪ which haven�۪t made a relevant dent at the ticket windows as such.
