Box Office: Lyca Productions’ announces release date of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’
Lyca Productions has announced the release date of the sequel to magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ (PS1).
In a striking video teaser shared by the production giant, it said ”Ponniyin Selvan 2′ (PS2) will hit cinemas on Friday 28th April 2023.
The sequel continues from where the original ended. It is based on the novel series of Kalki Krishnamoorthy, which was written about 70 years ago. It is a fictional story about Raja Raja Cholan and his ascension to the crown.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ stars Vikram, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Prakash Raj, Kishore and Sarathkumar.
