Box Office: ‘Luka Chuppi’ starts off on average note in India

This weekend’s light-hearted romantic comedy, ‘Luka Chuppi’ has opened up on an average note, while the other release ‘Sonchiriya’ has disappointed.

According to Box Office India, the Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon film had an opening of around 20%. The film is expected to do similar day one business to Aaryan’s previous films ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, both had an opening of around Rs. 6.25 crore nett.

The film’s music and young feel is expected to attract the youth, who may flock to cinemas at the weekend to catch a glimpse of the film.

The Sushant Singh Rajput starrer, ‘Sonchiriya’ has had a dull start with numbers too small to report.
