Box Office: ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ & ‘Raksha Bandhan’ continue downward trend

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’ continued to drop drastically at the ticket window, with numbers crashing post the Independence Day weekend.

On Wednesday, the business of both films went down by 25-30%. The films have so far failed to hit the Rs. 50 crore mark. As of Thursday, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ garnered 49,25,00,000, while ‘Raksha Bandhan’ stood at 36,30,00,000.

The Aamir Khan film may cross the Rs. 50 crore mark by Thursday-end, while the fate is unclear for ‘Raksha Bandhan’, which remains on the much lower side.
