Box Office: ‘Kick’ crosses record-breaking 150 crores in India

Salman Khan has been confirmed as the box office king as ‘Kick’ (2014) is his seventh 100-crore club film in a row. However, the film has now broken another record by crossing 150 crores in one week at the domestic box office.

The film, according to Hindustan Times, had made��164.09 in its first week of release. Not only that, it has also surpassed 200 crores in worldwide collections which is a record in itself – beating Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (2012).

No doubt all eyes are now going to be on Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Bang Bang’ and Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ which will release in the next few months. Will they be able to beat the Salman Khan record?
