Box Office: ‘Khamoshiyan’ picks up on day two in India

A film with relatively unknown faces is emerging out to be the only film that is working at the box office.

‘Khamoshiyan’ saw a steady growth on Saturday over Friday as it collected 2.21 crore. The film starring Gurmeet Choudhary, Sapna Pabbi and Ali Fazal had collected 1.92 crore on Friday. The total collection of Khamoshiyan stands at 4.13 crore nett which is good for a film with total newcomers.

According to a release from the production house, the film is riding high on audiences word-of-mouth who are liking this horror film. All eyes on Sunday to see how the film grows day-on-day to register a good weekend number. The film has been made with a budget of 11 crore (including marketing) and the makers – Fox Star Studios and Vishesh Films – have already collected 7.5 crore on satellite and music rights thus making Khamoshiyan an extremely profitable product.
