Box Office: ‘Kabir Singh’ emerges as 2019’s biggest hit so far

Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Kabir Singh’ has been a certified blockbuster hit, capturing and holding the attention of the domestic market to break box office records.

‘Kabir Singh’ has surpassed the previous highest grossers like Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, and Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’, which respectively earned Rs. 245 crore and Rs. 210 crore.

The news was broken by Taran Adarsh, who tweeted, “#KabirSingh biz at a glance… Week 1: ₹ 134.42 cr Week 2: ₹ 78.78 cr Week 3: ₹ 36.40 cr Week 4: ₹ 16.66 cr Total: ₹ 266.26 cr India biz. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER.”

‘Kabir Singh’ is also the biggest opener of Kapoor amassing Rs. 20.21 crore – a new personal record for the actor.
