Box Office: ‘Judwaa 2’ fifth biggest opener of 2017

Varun Dhawan’s latest release ‘Judwaa 2’ has had a big opening in India, according to early figures from Box Office India.

The comedy has taken the fifth biggest opening of the year after ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’, ‘Raees’, ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. Its wide release of 3400 screens was third biggest after ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’ and ‘Tubelight’.

The film’s opening may beat the business of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, which clocked up Rs. 14.69 crore nett on day one.
