Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 2’ has become his latest film to break into the Rs. 100 crore club.
The film has fought off competition from last weekend’s releases, to emerge as the biggest success of the week. On its twelfth day of release, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ delivered Rs. 100.37 in total.
Last weekend saw small releases from ‘The Ghazi Attack’, ‘Running Shaadi’ and ‘Irada’ but none were able to match the success of ‘Jolly LLB 2’. In fact, looking at the numbers by trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ reported Rs. 4.14 crore on Friday, Rs. 6.35 crore on Saturday, Rs. 7.24 crore on Sunday, Rs. 2.84 crore on Monday, Rs. 2.45 crore on Tuesday, equating the entire run so far to Rs. 100.37 crore.
‘Jolly LLB 2’ is Kumar’s fourth film to enter the Rs. 100 crore club after ‘Rustom’, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Airlift’ last year.
