Box Office: ‘Jai Ho’ quietly crosses 100 crores worldwide

Salman Khan and Daisy Shah starrer ��Jai Ho�۪ hit cinemas in full fanfare on Friday 24th January ready to make the money on Republic Day weekend. However, as BizAsia reported earlier, the business of the film is confusing even Khan. Having said that, the film has managed to cross the 100 crores mark in worldwide collections.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, ���JaiHo opng wknd: India *nett* Rs 60.68 cr, *gross* Rs 78.90 cr. Overseas *gross* Rs 22.38 cr. Worldwide total [gross]: Rs101.28 cr�۝.

The film was expected to surpass records set by last year�۪s biggest successes including ��Chennai Express�۪, ��Krrish 3�۪ and also ��Dhoom 3�۪. In an expected fashion, the film hasn�۪t appeared to do as well as was predicted by many and made only 17 crores on the day it released.
