Box Office: ‘Jai Gangaajal’ has poor start

Priyanka Chopra’s latest Bollywood release ‘Jai Gangaajal’ has had a poor opening at the box office, with most multiplexes across India registering just 10% collections.

According to Box Office India, the opening was slightly better at multiplexes in UP and CI. Single screens did not fare any better either with disappointing figures.

‘Jai Gangaajal’ has had the widest release of the year so far with 2600 screens showing the film.

The other release this week ‘Zubaan’ has been rejected too, like last week’s release ‘Aligarh’.
