Box Office: ‘Humshakals’ opens well in some areas; ‘Holiday’ crosses 100 crores in India

Director Sajid Khan will have wanted ��Humshakals�۪, which releases today, to have a much better fate than last year�۪s ��Himmatwala�۪. However, the film seems to have opened well but only in certain areas.

The film, which boasts a multi-starcast, has done well in both the multiplexes and the single screens, both at around 25-30% occupancy. According to Box Office India, will need to rise in the evenings should the film want to have a decent opening weekend. The film is aimed at a family audience so it should do well over the weekend.

Last week�۪s release ��Fugly�۪ has done pretty badly for its first week, making just under 12 crores. On the other hand, week two for ��Holiday ��� A Soldier Is Never Off Duty�۪ has been decent and the film has crossed 100 crores domestically today.
