Box Office: ‘Hey Bro’, ‘Dirty Politics’ & ‘Badmashiyaan’ struggle on first day

Today sees the release of ‘Hey Bro’, ‘Badmashiyaan’ and ‘Dirty Politics’. Early indications show that all three films have opened to a dull response at the box office.

According to Box Office India, ‘Dirty Politics’ is managing a 10-15% occupancy which is better than the other two. Although the Holi holiday should have managed to help the films, it seems even the evening shows are really not picking up. Unfortunately, all three films are pretty small with ‘Dirty Politics’ being the widest release of them.

Last week’s ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ has managed just over 10 crores nett in its first week, doing particularly well in Mumbai and North India.
