Box Office: ‘Hero’ release delayed until 11th September

A week ago BizAsia reported that, in order to avoid a box office clash, Eros International were looking to delay the forthcoming ‘Welcome Back’ a week. Now, it’s emerged that Salman Khan produced ‘Hero’ will now be releasing on 11th September, a week later than initially advertised.

No doubt makers of both films were definitely ready for the clash but not one of them would have really wanted their products to be pitted against each other.

‘Hero’ will see the debut of Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi and it is thought that Khan is taking an inside interest in how promotions and trailer will be launched.
