Box Office: ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ & ‘Genius’ open poorly

This weekend’s two releases ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ and ‘Genius’ have taken a dull start at the box office in India.

According to Box Office India data, the Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi’ opened with business of around just 8-10% – shockingly low for a film, which is a sequel to the 2016 hit.

‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ has performed better in Delhi and East Punjab.

The other release ‘Genius’ has opened near-zero collections at metro multiplexes.
