Box Office: Gurinder Chadha’s ‘Christmas Karma’ set for release in November
A new Christmas classic is on the horizon. Acclaimed filmmaker Gurinder Chadha, celebrated for ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ and ‘Blinded By The Light’, returns with ‘Christmas Karma’, a vibrant, feel-good musical reimagining of Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’.
Leading the star-studded cast is The Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar as Mr Sood, a contemporary Scrooge who embarks on a magical and transformative journey with the three Ghosts of Christmas—played by Eva Longoria, Billy Porter, and Boy George. Together, they guide him through his past, present and future, helping him confront his demons and discover that kindness is the true spirit of Christmas.
The film also features Leo Suter, Pixie Lott, Charithra Chandran, Danny Dyer, and Hugh Bonneville in supporting roles.
