This weekend’s release ‘Gully Boy’ has got off to an impressive start at the ticket window in India, according to stats from Box Office India.

It is reported that the film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, collected Rs. 18.5 crore nett on its opening day yesterday. Initial numbers for ‘Gully Boy’ has put it in a strong position with encouraging figures from Mumbai city, Pune and Bangalore.

The film has benefited from the Valentine’s Day audience on Thursday so it will be interesting to see how it maintains its position over the coming weekend. The positive reviews for the film, will only work in its favour.
