Box Office: ‘Grand Masti’ joins the domestic 100 crore club

Indra Kumar’s ‘Grand Masti’, starring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani – having already surpassed 100 crores worldwide – has joined the 100 crore club at the Indian box office.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said on Twitter, “And it’s a century… ‘ Grand Masti ‘ crosses Rs.100 crore net mark in India. First ‘Adults’ film to attain this status”.

Shivdasani also tweeted, “And history is made – the first adult film to make Rs.100 crores! Feeling elated to be a part of history! Thank you all.”

The movie was a second instalment to 2004’s ‘Masti’ and released on 13th September.
