Govinda starrer ‘Rangeela Raja’ had been awaiting a release date as the ‘Central Board of Film Certification’ (CBFC) had proposed for the film to have 20 cuts, but the ‘The Film Certification Appellate Tribunal (FCAT)’ has given the film an U/A certificate and 3 cuts. With this sorted, the film will release next month.
A source said, “The committee felt that the cuts given by the CBFC were too harsh and hence decided to do away with 17 such cuts, but retained three cuts that were suggested by Prasoon Joshi’s team that viewed the film earlier. The film was to release last month, but now will release in the month of January,” as according to Sanskriti Media.
‘Rangeela Raja’ is slated for a 11th January release.
