Box Office: Good weekend collections expected for ‘Fugly’

The release today is of ‘Fugly’ which stars a new starcast. The film is produced by Akshay Kumar’s Grazing Goat pictures and for a fresh cast, seems to be doing pretty decently.

The film sees the debut of Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, Kiara Advani and also stars Jimmy Shergill. Early indications, according to Box Office India, have compared the film to last year’s ‘Fukrey’ which picked up over the weekend and had an overall decent lifetime business. No doubt last week’s ‘Holiday – A Solider Is Never Off Duty’ will be providing some stiff competition but it’s predicted that ‘Fugly’ will remain steady.

‘Holiday’ has made 65.75 crore nett in its first week which is great despite having a not so good start last weekend. ‘Filmistaan’ which also released last week made 4.5 crores nett and was at a steady low throughout the week.
