Box Office: ‘Ghanchakkar’ has an average opening

Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan’s movie ‘Ghanchakkar’ has had a lukewarm reception at the box office in India.

The film started slow at many centres where the film hit about 40% collections but it is expected to pick up during the evening shows.

‘Ghanchakkar’ is carrying mediocre reviews, which may not help the film much. The film will require a boost this evening and at the weekend to recover any money. Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore markets are crucial for the film’s success.

In Punjab, the collections of ‘Ghanchakkar’ have been dented by ‘Jatt and Juliet 2’, which has opened up really well, as expected.
