Box Office: ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ & ‘Ab Tak Chappan 2’ open poorly

This weekend’s two releases ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ and ‘Ab Tak Chappan 2’ have had a very slow start at the Indian box office.

According to Box Office India, both films had occupancies of up to 7% on Friday morning.

‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ is being shown on much lower screens (775) than ‘Ab Tak Chappan’ (1375) so will be interesting to see if the latter can do better over the weekend or will it be the Yash Raj Film starring Ayushmann Khurrana that will surprise instead.

The reports of ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ have been a lot more encouraging than ‘Ab Tak Chappan 2’.
