Box Office: Disastrous openings for ‘Laal Kaptaan’ & ‘Ghost’

This weekend has seen a number of Bollywood releases including ‘Laal Kaptaan’, ‘Ghost’ and ‘P Se Pyaar F Se Farrar’ amongst the most known.

Box Office India reports that out of the new lot, ‘Laal Kaptaan’ starring Saif Ali Khan, had little more awareness than the other films. However, its morning shows reported empty houses and some show cancellations. Similarly, ‘Ghost’ starring TV actress, Sanaya Irani, opened up to empty houses but it has potential to pick up due to its horror genre.

‘The Sky Is Pink’, which opened poorly last week, is expected to lead this weekend, along with ‘War’ and ‘Joker’.
