This weekend’s latest release ‘Dhadak’ has opened up well in India.
According to early figures published by Box Office India, the Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor starrer, delivered occupancy of 30-35% – a little better than ‘Raazi’. The film may do better during the day as it has a youth attraction, however its evening collections are questionable.
‘Dhadak’ is said to have opened well all over India including East Punjab. The film seems to be struggling in Mysore but this may change over the weekend. It remains to be seen if ‘Dhadak’ can beat the opening day business of ‘Student Of The Year’, which also starred newcomers. It fetched business of Rs. 7.50 crore nett approx when it released in 2012.
