On the occasion of Bakri Id, ‘Boss’, has released today to take advantage of the extra day’s holiday in the subcontinent. The film has gotten off to a good start.

Occupancy is around 50-60%, according to Box Office India. However, for a film releasing during a holiday period, this figure us not up to the mark. Expected occupancy would be around 90% in single screens which the film is not quite achieving for a holiday release.

Having said that, in the single screens, ‘Boss’ is faring better than ‘Besharam’ across the country. In fact, the single screens opening is doing so well that it is indicating the best second opening in 2013 after ‘Chennai Express’.

‘Boss’ also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Shiv Pandit.
