Box Office: ‘Dangal’ joins Rs. 350 crore club

‘Dangal’ continues to break and set new records. After beating the collections of Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ and his own earlier film ‘PK’, Khan is euphoric that the wrestling saga is the first film to start the Rs. 350 crore club in India.

Respected trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted confirmation of the news “”#Dangal to cross ₹ 350 cr today [Tue]… [Week 3] Fri 6.66 cr, Sat 10.80 cr, Sun 14.33 cr, Mon 4.35 cr. Total: ₹ 349.65 cr. India biz. ATBB”.

Upon hearing the news, DNA India quoted Khan as saying, “I have never got such a euphoric response earlier. I don’t think there is any greater joy for an artiste than the audience appreciating his film. I am thankful to everyone for showering so much love on Dangal. I would also like to thank Nitesh sir.”
