Box Office: ‘Dangal’ crosses Rs. 100 crore in three days

This weekend’s huge festive treat ‘Dangal’ crossed Rs. 100 crore at the domestic box office, in just three days.
According to Box Office India, ‘Dangal’ collected Rs. 29.14 crore on Friday, followed by Rs. 34 crore on Saturday and a mind boggling Rs. 41.25 crore on Christmas Day. Its total collections over the three day period was Rs. 104.25 crores, just behind ‘Sultan’, which garnered Rs. 105.55 crore.
‘Dangal’ starring Aamir Khan has now holds the title of second biggest opening weekend ever after ‘Sultan’. In terms of worldwide collections, ‘Dangal’ has something in the region of Rs. 200 crore, compared to Rs. 212 crore for ‘Sultan’.
