Box Office: ‘Dangal’ creates history in weekday collections

Aamir Khan’s latest release ‘Dangal’ is making history with its mind-boggling figures at the domestic box office.

According to Box Office India, ‘Dangal’ had a terrific first week at the box office with weekday collections delivering record numbers. The film has passed the weekday figures of ‘PK’. Not only that, ‘Dangal’ has managed to remain above Rs. 20 crore each weekday since its historic all time record collections for a single day on Christmas Day.

The report adds that the weekday collections of the film were a lot better than the weekend. Collections for Monday were much better than day one and Tuesday figures were similar to day one. ‘Dangal’ is emerging as one of the biggest releases in India this year.
