Box Office: ‘Dangal’ continues to creates history in fourth week

Aamir Khan’s much praised movie ‘Dangal’ continued to jump leaps and bounds in its fourth week of release.

Box Office India reports that the film garnered 14.50 crore nett in its fourth week. The report said that the drop in collection between third and fourth week were 67%. However, its fourth week collections were highest after only ‘3 Idiots’ (2009).

‘Dangal’ may struggle at the box office from next week as ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’ are released and will certainly affect business of the film.

Meanwhile, ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’ and ‘OK Jaanu’ have had disappointing first week collections. ‘OK Jaanu’ delivered around Rs. 16.75 crore nett in the first week. ‘xXx: Return Of Xander Cage’ Rs. 24 crore nett in the first week. The Deepika Padukone film did well on its first day with Rs. 7 crore, which was the fifth highest opening day for a Hollywood release in India but numbers dipped in subsequent days.
