Two highly anticipated films, Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Brahmastra’ might have to rival it off at the box office. While both actors are extremely fond of each other, the box office could say otherwise. Khan’s ongoing court case and packed shooting schedules have reportedly pushed the film’s release date to next year.

Deccan Chronicle reports that ‘Dabangg 3’ was to release at the end of the year alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ or Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’. A trade expert said, “Salman’s schedule is very tight right now. He needs some time off to concentrate on how to handle the court case and needs a breather in between his films for the promotions as well. This means Dabangg 3 will have to look at the Independence Day weekend because that’s one better slot available. That would, however, imply the film will clash with Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra.”

‘Dabangg 3’ will be directed by Prabhu Deva.
