This week sees the release of two films – ‘Commando’ and ‘Nautanki Saala’. The former, which stars Vidyut Jamwal and Pooja Chopra, is doing a little better than the latter at the domestic box office.
‘Commando’ is boasting good audience numbers in the single screens, according to Box Office India; achieving 40-50%occupancy. The multiplexes areproving to be a little slow but overall this opening is perkier than expected for the movie. On the other hand, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur starrer ‘Nautanki Saala’ is thought to be unpopular amongst the single screens but is expected to rule in the multiplexes during the evening shows. Should ‘Nautanki Saala’ not be on the up in the evening thenit will be doing 30-35% lower than ‘Commando’ overall.
‘Nautanki Saala’ has been promoted heavily in the recent weeks whereas promotions for ‘Commando’ haven’t been as apparent.
