Box Office: ‘Chennai Express’ hits 300 crores worldwide

The Twitter hashtag that’s being used is ‘#UnstoppableExpress’ and why not? Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’ seems to have lost account of what brakes are. The film has crossed a whopping 300 crores gross worldwide, according to an ad released by the makers.

There are only a number of films that have achieved such a milestone; ‘3 Idiots’ (2009), ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012) and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (2013). The film already broke records at both the domestic and overseas box offices to become the highest grosser of all time.

‘Chennai Express’ released on 8th August and has pretty much railroaded any film that has released since.
