Box Office: ‘Bobby Jasoos’ & ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’ struggle on opening day

The two films clashing today at the box office are Vidya Balan and Ali Fazal starrer ��Bobby Jasoos�۪ and Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth�۪s debut ��Lekar Hum Deewana Dil�۪. The day has seen both films struggle at the ticket windows.

According to Box Office India, ��Bobby Jasoos�۪ has done slightly lower in occupancy than ��Lekar Hum Deewana Dil�۪ and both films will need to rely on word of mouth to get better during the evening and weekend shows. No doubt Saturday will be the most important day of the weekend for both and it will remain to be seen whether they dip or rise higher.

Last week�۪s ��Ek Villain�۪ faired well and made over 70 crores net in its first week. It is currently more popular than this week�۪s releases. ��Punjab 1984�۪ has done particularly well in Punjab, emerging as a blockbuster in comparison to other Punjabi films.

Next week, ��Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania�۪ will be added to the mix and there are some pretty huge expectations surrounding it.
