Box Office: ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ opens well; ‘Dhaakad’ starts slow

This weekend’s two releases ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Dhaakad’ have opened up with contrasting numbers, according to preliminarily data published by Box Office India.

The Kartik Aaryan horror-comedy, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has had an occupancy of around 30%, with good numbers at multiplexes. The film’s first day business could hit anywhere between Rs. 10 – Rs. 15 crore, which is solid and a welcome relief for the film industry.

Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Dhaakad’ is likely to struggle. Its initial numbers are very disappointing with the film unlikely to cross Rs. 1 crore.
