Box Office: ‘Bangistan’ makes quiet start

This weekend’s release ‘Bangistan’ has made a slow start a the India box office.

According to Box Office India, the comedy opened up to 10 per cent collections. The quiet start means the film will need a huge boost in collections on Saturday and Sunday for any survival. Unfortunately, ‘Bangistan’ is facing competition from Hollywood flick ‘Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation’. However, its opening has been a lot smaller than previous films from the same franchise. The latest film could only manage 30 per cent collections.

Last weekend’s release ‘Drishyam’ has a crucial few days to make any moolah. Its lifetime business can be determined on how it performs this weekend.
