Box Office: All new releases fail to make impact

There are no less than seven releases today in the sub-continent and it seems no film is making any kind of decent impact as such. The releases include Mika Singh�۪s debut ��Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya�۪, ��3AM�۪ and also ��Desi Kattey�۪.

It is a usual downfall when so many films release on the same day that the audiences become so spoilt for choice than no one film emerges a clear winner. And today is definitely one of those times. According to Box Office India, the films would need to achieve around 7-8 crores on opening day but that none of the films will even achieve a quarter of that.

Last week�۪s releases, ��Daawat-E-Ishq�۪ and ��Khoobsurat�۪, didn�۪t do as well as expected either. The former achieved 20 crores net in the first week, whereas ��Khoobsurat�۪ made 16 crores. Both movies could well end up doing well this week due to the lacklustre response of today�۪s releases.
