Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan will be going head-to-head at the box office for Eid 2020, with the much-anticipated release of their movies ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ and ‘Radhe’, respectively.
Being directed by Raghava Lawrence, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ will follow the unconventional story of a man possessed by a transgender woman. The release date was confirmed by Fox Star Hindi on Twitter, where they had posted, “EID 2020 ko, saare desh mein machega shor, jab fatega #LaxmmiBomb aapke nazdeeki cinema gharon mein”.
Conversely, ‘Radhe’ will be directed under the wing of Prabhu Deva, and will be an action-packed movie following a police officer. Although Khan has played a cop in ‘Wanted’, and in the ‘Debangg’ series, ‘Radhe’ will seek to cast a different light on the cop-action genre. Khan recently posted on Twitter about ‘Radhe’ and the start of its production, saying ‘And the journey begins’, which accompanied a picture featuring Dish Patani, Prabhu Deva, and Sohail Khan.
