Box Office: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ & ‘Gabbar’ to release on same day

There’s going to be a clash between two Akshay Kumar films on the same day in January 2015.

While makers will no doubt try to avert the clash, ‘Baby’ and ‘Gabbar’ currently have been scheduled to release on 23rd January.

A source told Mid-Day, ���The actor has quite a few big films lined up for release next year and two of his films, Baby and Gabbar, are releasing on the same day. This has left both films�۪ producers in a fix.�۝

The source added, ���Gabbar�۪s makers had first announced January 23 as their release date. But now it turns out that Baby�۪s makers are looking at same date. With Akshay headlining the cast in both projects, it will be really difficult for him to promote these films. It makes sense for him to shift the release of one of his films or else they will eat into each other�۪s business.”

Makers of ‘Baby’ are adamant to release their film on the date advertised, while Sanjay Leela Bhansali is in no mood to change the release date of his ‘Gabbar’.
