After much delays with its release, ‘2.0’ starring Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth, is now expected to clash with Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30’ on Indian Republic Day next January.
‘2.0’, which had its launch event back in 2015, has been delayed on several occasions. A source told DNA India, “The 2.0 team had to majorly work on the VFX because they weren’t entirely happy with the first copy. That’s also the reason they haven’t released any promo officially. But they are eyeing the Republic Day weekend next year.”
‘2.0’ was initially expected to release on Diwali 2017, followed by a delay until January 2018. It was further delayed to 14th April 2018 and 27th April 2018. It has now been put back completely until January next year.
