The latest box office release ‘A Flying Jatt’ has had a slow start at the box office despite a partial holiday for Janmasthmi.

According to Box Office India, ‘A Flying Jatt’ clocked up around 6.75 crore nett on Thursday. The film was expected to take a bigger opening after Tiger Shroff’s last film ‘Baaghi’ doing exceptionally well. ‘A Flying Jatt’ collections were low all over India.

“We opened on Janmashtami and raked in the semi-holiday benefit in the day, instead of doing paid previews in the evening we started in the morning. We’re glad to have capitalised on the bonus semi holiday”, says Aman Gill, CEO, Balaji motion pictures.

It will be interesting to see how ‘A Flying Jatt’ performs over the weekend and if it can make any headway in collections.

The other two films ‘Rustom’ and ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi witnessed a slight increase in revenue on Thursday for Janmasthmi.
